The Blacksmith Arms offers restaurant quality food or bar meals and serves generous portions.

We are central to an area covering Tavistock, Callington, Liskeard, Okehampton, Launceston and all the villages in between.

Our chefs run both a varied a lunch and evening menu. There is also an extensive Specials Board with a choice of as many as 15 main courses and also a good choice of our seasonal starters and desserts to tempt you.

All the meals are homemade and beef from our own farm is used when available. Many meals are restaurant quality and style in the taste and presentation. You have a choice of good bar meals or restaurant food and you will not be disappointed with the portion size. Our steak and ale pie is legendary with our locals!

There is a full waitress service from placing your order to paying the bill.

After your main course we present you with our homemade desserts board - the tiramisu & chocolate brownies are not to be missed!

On Sundays we serve three roast meats with seasonal vegetables.

Function room catering for 70 - 80 people

As an integral area of the pub for atmosphere, yet separate enough to have some privacy, we boast a dining/function room which can seat between 70-80 people. This can be booked for buffets or set meals. Also,  we can place a skittle alley down for a fun evening (pre booked), or maybe an organised game of pool or darts.
