The Blacksmiths Arms - a cosy, country pub atmosphere with quality food

A warm welcome always awaits you at this traditional country pub on the edge of Lamerton, near Tavistock on the West Devon and  East Cornwall border.

The large wood burner brings to life the dining room and bar. Come, warm yourself and relax in this 'olde worlde' country pub atmosphere while you sample our fine conditioned 'real ales' , wines or other drinks and choose from the varied and sumptuous menus on offer

The Blacksmiths Arms opens all day with food being served from 11.30~2.00, 6.30~9.30 Monday to Saturday and 12.00~2.00 and 6.30~9.00 on Sundays.
Our chefs run a lunch and evening menu with an extensive, ever changing specials board all of which is homemade. On Sundays we serve 3 roast meats with seasonal vegetables, and as everyday a homemade desserts board, the tiramisu & chocolate brownies are not to be missed!

As an integral area of the pub for atmosphere, yet separate enough to have some privacy, we boast a dining/function room which can sit between 70-80. This can be booked for buffets or set meals. Also,  we can place a skittle alley down for a fun evening (pre booked), or may be a game of pool or darts.

On entering the car park we have a fantastic display of flowers in the summer months which we have won awards for, also a beer garden with picnic tables for you to eat at on warm evenings.

For your information we have a disabled access through our dining room and baby changing facilities in the ladies toilet.

We can also provide outside bars if you are planning a wedding or function elsewhere.
